Message Scroller

The scrolling part of a thread: it follows a streaming reply down while you are at the bottom, lets go when you scroll up, and offers the way back.

01Preview

Can the composer stay put while the thread scrolls?

Yes. Put the thread in a scroller and the composer after it, outside the part that scrolls.

And new replies?

The scroller follows them down, as long as you were already at the bottom.

What if I scrolled up to reread something?

Then it leaves you there, and shows a button that brings you back to the latest message.
